Overview:
This conference is intended to provide an introduction and broad overview for
selected key areas in Cytopathology. These sessions will have a variety of
formats, including but not limited to PowerPoint didactic sessions, unknown
slide review, the use of digital or glass slide review sets, or the review of
on-line tutorials.
Residents are
expected to review the relevant chapters within standard cytopathology reference
texts in advance of these sessions. Both one-volume and two-volume versions
DeMay's textbooks, as well as other reference texts, are available for
residents in the cytopathology technician office (AIP Room 3106). In addition,
complete copies of the International Academy of Cytopathology tutorials have
been ordered for the residents.
