GOALS: These Laboratory Units are:

  1. To reinforce materials discussed in the lectures.

  2. To emphasize various clinical tests and procedures, and their interpretation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

Apply the material in the lectures and lecture notes on pathology to the clinical cases.

 

ORGANIZATION:

Most of the following laboratory units consists of a series of cases accompanied by corresponding images and questions.

Before reviewing these cases,  please review Figure 1 with a normal glomerulus (H&E staining) and Figure 2 with normal morphology of the glomerulus seen by electron microscopy.
