Clinical History: A 28-year-old
woman presented with the chief complaint of secondary amenorrhea. Previously
regular menses had in the past year become irregular and then stopped. Also,
her voice had become husky and she noted hair growing on her chin. Physical
examination revealed a mass in the left ovary. At laparotomy, a 12 cm mass
replaced the left ovary. It was firm, lobulated and yellow-brown.
