The Children's Hospital is building a new state-of-the-art facility at Fitzsimons to anchor its growing

high-quality, coordinated patient care, education, research and advocacy. The new Children's Hospital
will share the campus at Fitzsimons with its affiliated organization, the University of Colorado Denver.
Located on 48 acres in Aurora, Colorado, The Children's Hospital will occupy approximately
1.44 million square feet and will include an inpatient facility (the main hospital), outpatient buildings,
a medical office building, ambulatory clinics and surface and structure parking and more. There
will be approximately 270 beds and more than 2,000 parking spaces.
Every aspect of the hospital is being developed with the health and comfort of patients and their
families as the top priority.
