Lalit Bajaj, MD, MPH, earned his Masters in Public Health degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health, in 1995, and his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, in 1996. Dr. Bajaj completed his pediatric residency, a Chief Residency, and a fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine in 2003. He joined the faculty of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine and The Children’s Hospital in 1999. Dr. Bajaj is currently Director of Evidence-Based Practice at The Children’s Hospital and Research Director for the Section of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Bajaj’s research interests include clinical care
guidelines, pediatric procedural sedation and analgesia,
bronchiolitis, and quality improvement. He is widely published in medical journals and books and is a popular guest lecturer statewide. Dr. Bajaj has received numerous awards and honors, including the Gary Way Award for Outstanding Teaching from the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine in 2006, and a Pfizer/Ambulatory Pediatric Association Fellow Travel Grant Award in 2002. He is regularly named as one of Denver’s “TopDocs” by 5280 Magazine.
Dr. Bajaj is board certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
