Pramote Laoprasert, MD
Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology
Pramote Laoprasert, MD, received his medical degree from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1984. He completed a Child Neurology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1997, and a fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at Harvard Medical School in 1999. After serving as a Clinical Professor at Pikeville Medical College in Kentucky, he joined the faculty of The Children’s Hospital and the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine’s Departments of Pediatrics and Neurology in 2003. Dr. Laoprasert currently serves as Director of the Inpatient Neurodiagnostic Unit at The Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Laoprasert is pursuing clinical research related to neuroimagery in patients with epilepsy. His interests also include epilepsy surgery in children and medically intractable epilepsy. He is a member of both the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society.
Dr. Laoprasert is board certified in Pediatrics and Child Neurology.
