Audrey S. Yee, MD
Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
Audrey S. Yee, MD, earned her medical degree in 1991 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. At the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, she completed her Adult Neurology Residency and three Fellowships–Basic Neurophysiology, Clinical Neuromuscular/ Neurodiagnostics, and Clinical Research (Epilepsy Foundation of America)–in 1996, 1997, 1998, and 2000, respectively. Dr. Yee joined the faculty of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine and The Children’s Hospital in 2004. She currently serves as a Co-Medical Director of the Neurology Clinic at The Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Yee's NINDS-funded research is directed at understanding the basic mechanisms of anticonvulsants and antiepileptogenic compounds and the cellular mechanisms of epilepsy. Her clinical interests include epilepsy and headache and comorbid mood disorders. Dr. Yee recently received an Epilepsy Foundation of America Award to examine the interaction between anticonvulsant and antidepressant compounds.
Dr. Yee is board certified in Neurology.
