TCH CTRC
Education Overview

The Children's Hospital Clinical Translational Research Center (TCH CTRC) is involved in research training across multiple disciplines and levels, ranging from medical students to clinical fellows to junior faculty. Rotations available in the different TCH CTRC cores include:
Medical students at UCD or other institutions across the country may spend elective time on the TCH CTRC during which they have the option to participate in projects under a mentor.

Pediatric residents have direct contact with the TCH CTRC during their care of TCH CTRC patients while rotating on the inpatient pediatric ward service at The Children's Hospital. Additionally, pediatric residents in the Opportunities in Resident Research program may become involved in or design a research project to be completed during their residency, under the supervision of a research mentor.

In addition, CCTSI-funded trainees (K12 awardees and T32 awardees) use the TCH CTRC for performing clinical and translational research while in training.
