Welcome to the Pediatric Clinical
Translational Research Center (CTRC)
The Pediatric Clinical Translational Research Center (Pediatric CTRC) is one of 84 General Clinical Research Centers nationwide supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), only six of which are dedicated pediatric centers. It has been continuously funded since 1962. The Center is currently in a five-year funding cycle from 2001 to 2006 and completed a successful competitive grant renewal application and site visit in the fall of 2004.
While the Pediatric CTRC is part of the University of Colorado Denver, its administrative offices, inpatient unit, outpatient clinic, "scatterbed" nurses, core laboratory,
bionutrition unit, research subject advocacy program, bioinformatics core and biostatistician are located at The Children's Hospital, and its perinatal unit is located at University of Colorado Hospital.
