Clinical Services
The Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic at The Children's Hospital provides a team approach to the diagnosis and treatment of children with severe pulmonary hypertension from unknown ("primary") or known ("secondary") causes.
Our group includes Dr. Dunbar Ivy (pediatric cardiologist); Dr. Steven Abman (pediatric pulmonologist); Deborah Bingaman, Lori Claussen, Aimee Doran and Brent Northouse (nurse practitioners); and Donna Parker (respiratory therapist).
We currently treat patients with chronic prostacyclin infusions, calcium channel blockers, endothelin blockers, inhaled nitric oxide and several experimental drugs.
