Research
The University of Colorado Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (MRDDRC) conducts research on the basic biological mechanisms underlying many mental retardation syndromes. In addition, the MRDDRC has been a leader in discovering the cognitive and behavioral phenotypes of disorders such as autism, dyslexia, phenylketonuria, Fragile X syndrome and Down syndrome.
