Research
The Section of Community Pediatrics
-
works closely with the Section of Epidemiology to identify, implement, and evaluate methods of addressing barriers to care for underserved children in Colorado
- provides and evaluates methods for improving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of providers to improve the cultural responsiveness of their care for ethnic and racial minority families
- develops and studies methods for improving the ability of practices to provide a culturally effective, coordinated, family-centered, continuous, accessible, compassionate, comprehensive medical home for children, and
- identifies and evaluates care coordination resources for children with chronic illness.
