Information for New CTRC Investigators
If you have never submitted a research protocol to the Pediatric
CTRC, or are just beginning to learn how to write and submit a
protocol, or just need a quick refresher on the forms and procedures
required for 2005 submissions to do pediatric research, you are
in luck. We have developed an approach to teaching the ins and
outs of writing and running successful research studies based on our
experience over many years with others who have gone before you.
You can now benefit from their strategies, pitfalls, and lessons
learned without having to go through this very long learning curve
individually.
We call this approach our Research Compliance
Assistance Program (RCAP). You will be assured to go through all of the required steps
to write and submit a protocol without missing a thing, and thus
save yourself the additional time and effort (and frustration)
that can accompany facing this process yourself. Consider the RCAP
as your online mentor that is always there to teach you, to
provide examples and answer questions that other new investigators
found challenging in the past. The probability for your success
in having your proposed research study approved on the first try
will be greatly improved.
For detailed information and documentation on the RCAP, see the section
on our Web site under Research Subject Advocacy entitled Investigator
Assistance. Or just click here
