CTRC Advisory Committee (GAC)
Although the official principal investigator of the Pediatric CTRC is Dr.
Richard D. Krugman, MD, dean of the CU School of Medicine, the Pediatric
CTRC is also governed by an oversight board that monitors the
Center's activities and makes strategic decisions on how resources will
best be utilized in the pursuit of clinical research. The GAC is made
up of the program director, associate directors and assistant director,
and other senior faculty representing major scientific interests in the
Department of Pediatrics. The GAC meets quarterly or more frequently
if necessary and reviews status reports and situational updates from
key CTRC staff members on important matters related to the Center's long-term
direction. Minutes are kept of all GAC meetings by the administrative
staff, and are available for review by appropriate NCRR officials to
ensure operational and ethical compliance with CTRC Program Guidelines.
