Postdoctoral Fellowships in Alcohol and Drug Abuse at the University of Colorado

ARC lab photoPostdoctoral fellowships are available to support research training in the areas of alcohol and drug abuse, utilizing pharmacogenetic and behavior genetic strategies. This NIAAA supported multidisciplinary postdoctoral training program, now in its 31st year, supports eight postdoctoral fellows. Laboratories contributing to this training program range from those undertaking molecular cloning and investigating cellular mechanisms in animals and model systems to those conducting behavioral studies in animals, genetic studies in animals and humans and human epidemiological studies. University of Colorado faculty preceptors in this program are in the Departments of Pharmacology, Psychiatry, and Medicine in the School of Medicine and the School of Pharmacy at the Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO, and the Department of Psychology and Integrative Physiology and the Institute for Behavioral Genetics in Boulder, CO.
