Veterans Affairs Medical Center is a 200-bed facility where the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation serves a 12-bed inpatient service in general rehabilitation. Specialized outpatient clinics include prosthetics, orthotics, multiple sclerosis and physical medicine, wheelchair clinic and specialized rehabilitation medical equipment clinic. Inpatient consultation and electrodiagnostic testing are services also offered by the department. The VA Medical Center is planning contruction of a new hospital adjacent to the Anschutz Medical Campus.
