Hospice Research & Quality Improvement Capacity
The purpose of this research is to learn about attitudes, culture, and resources that facilite research, translation of research into practice, and quality improvement through the conduction of telephone interviews with participating PoPCRN hospices. We will seek to understand how hospice and palliative care organizations can best prepare for translation of research into practice, quality improvement, and research participation.
We will use this information to develop a survey of hospices to understand, on a more gloabal level, how hospices are currently approaching research and quality improvement and what resources are necessary to assist hospices in maximizing performance in these areas.
