Videophone Technology Acceptance among Hospice Social Workers and Nurses
The purpose of this project is to measure acceptance of videophone technology among hospice social workers and nurses. Hospice social workers and nurses will be asked to view a short video (2 minutes, 26 seconds long) about videophone technology and then complete a questionnaire based on their reactions. Basic, non-identifying demographic information about respondents will also be collected. The video will be presented to respondents via streaming video linked to an easily accessible website (http://www.telehospice-project.org/video.html). In the event that respondents do not have access to the internet or if their internet connection speed prohibits viewing online video, a copy of the video clip on either CD-ROM or DVD will be provided to them free of charge. Similarly, respondents will have the option of either completing the questionnaire online or completing a paper copy that will be mailed to them along with a postage-paid return envelope.
