Caregiver Concerns related to pain management: the role of hospice social workers
The University of Missouri Department of Family and Community Medicine is conducting a survey of hospice social workers. Their research team is interested in the role of social workers on the hospice interdisciplinary team and the ways in which social workers collaborate with other team members to address issues related to pain management. All hospice social workers who agree to participate in the study will have the opportunity to be entered into a drawing for National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) gift certificates, which can be used toward the purchase of merchandise or educational events. Please inform your hospice’s social workers of this study and the opportunity to contribute to research aimed at improving social work effectiveness in the hospice setting.
