project overview
UCD will perform remediation activities on approximately 2.5 million gross square feet of buildings, prior to the sale and transfer of the buildings to Shea Properties for re-development. The remediation work includes asbestos abatement and removal of all environmentally sensitive items such as polychlorinated biphenyl's (PCBs), chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's), underground fuel storage tanks, mercury containing light bulbs and switches, etc, as required by environmental regulations, prior to demolition.
