project overview

The Center for Oral Health has a project cost of $26,500,000. It primarily contains the clinical education and office functions of the School of Dentistry. The building is sited on the west side of the Education Commons south of Education 1. The design for the project resulted in a 95,448 gsf facility. The 1st floor houses the combined clinics of emergency, radiology, surgery, geriatrics, and their shared functions along with front office reception, lecture hall and some faculty offices. The 2nd floor houses the main clinic and its support areas along with clinical teaching areas and a faculty office zone. The 3rd floor houses the orthodontics, pediatric programs, dean's area and other Faculty offices. The basement plan includes materials handling functions, sterilization area, student lounge, lockers and 6 offices for Faculty.
