Facilities Projects Divisions
Building Projects
The Building Projects Division provides design and construction management services for capital construction remodel and new building projects over $25,000. Projects over $500,000 are generally initiated with a facility program plan generated by the Office of Institutional Planning working jointly with Facilities Projects. Projects under $500,000 are generally initiated with an internally generated Project Request Form (PRF). Controlled maintenance projects are initiated through the annual controlled maintenance request. Project Managers are assigned and continue working with Planning on programmed projects and guide oversight committees or individual clients through the complete process of design, construction and occupancy.

Infrastructure and Utility Development
The Infrastructure and Utility Development Division provides design and construction management services for infrastructure capital construction projects for development of the Anschutz Medical Campus. Projects address water, sanitary sewer and storm drainage, steam and chilled water generation and distribution; electrical, telecommunications and natural gas distribution; open space and landscaping, pedestrian circulation and access systems, vehicular access systems and demolition of existing buildings and infrastructure. These projects are generally initiated with a facility program plan generated by the Office of Institutional Planning working jointly with Facilities Projects. Project managers are assigned and guide their clients through the complete process of design and construction.

Finance and Administration
The Finance and Administration Division provides department operation as well as project financial and administrative support. The staff of accountants, technology professionals and administrators provides project accounting, budget development, financial analysis, contract and pay management, and information technology services.
