Specialized Programs
The research culture of a major medical center such as the University of Colorado Denver has inspired us to create enhanced, innovative patient service programs in several areas:

Treatment and Supervision Model
Our philosophy of care emphasizes personalized treatment plans, patient-driven goals, and defined outcomes for recovery.

  • Individualized treatment planning process emphasizing consumer choice, recovery, and defined outcomes
  • Multidisciplinary staff (psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, counseling) comprised of full-time faculty, mental health professionals, and trainees
  • Faculty provide on-site concurrent supervision of each case, direct patient contact as needed
  • Full-time program manager oversees program operations (quality of care, complaint management, referrals, etc).

Mental health services are provided by a multidisciplinary team led by faculty psychiatrists, including specialists in both adult and child/adolescent psychiatry. The team also includes faculty psychologists and social workers, full-time mental health professionals, and mental health trainees (psychiatry residents, social work and psychology interns). Faculty are directly involvement in each new evaluation and as needed thereafter. Faculty supervision occurs as services are provided, ensuring high-quality care and collaborative expert consultation on each case.
