Developmental Psychiatry Research Lab

The University of Colorado Denver Developmental Research Lab studies the relationship between early brain development and severe mental illness. Our research focuses on pregnant women, young infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and school age children who are have or are at risk for schizophrenia. We currently have three main research studies in progress:the Choline Study, the Perinatal Research Study, the Preschool Study which will help us better understand brain development from in utero to adolescence.
