The psychiatry residency spring 2009 all-resident retreat was held April 29th at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado.  This spring’s theme was professionalism.  Keynote speaker Dr. Yager explored aspects of professionals and various barriers we encounter. The retreat also featured dramatic role-palying skits by resident teams that touched on some of the complexities of the subject.

After some games and competitions, everyone was given some time for indiviadual or small group reflection in the gardens, which was followed by a liveley panel discussion. Panalists were several alumni and faculty memebers, who hosted questions and discussion from residents on a various of situations which posed professionalism concerns.
