A Resource for Medical Students Interested in Psychiatry
The Office of Medical Student Education in the Department of Psychiatry is the medical student resource for psychiatric education during the student's four years of medical school. Our faculty and staff coordinate required psychiatry courses, psychiatric electives, sub-internships and the Psychiatry/Medicine Interest Group. We also provide students with opportunities for behavioral medicine research through the Psychiatry Scholars Program and career advising for those students considering psychiatry as a career.
