This psychosocial treatment for substance use disorders is a manualized and empirically supported. Two administrative supplements have been awarded by NIDA under this parent grant: 1) NIDA 3R01DA13176-02S1, investigates change in biomarkers (serotonin, cortisol, DHEA, testosterone) with treatment, and 2) NIDA 3R01DA13176-03S1, investigates the effect of a brief CBT interview on reducing HIV risk behaviors.
