This sponsored research agreement supported testing of a light-weight transdermal alcohol monitoring system both in controlled laboratory conditions and with community participants. Role: Co-Investigator Dates: 10/06/2003 - 10/06/2004 Educational ActivitiesMedical Students: MED 8029 – MS-IV Clinical Psychopharmacology, lecturer Experiential Learning Module about AA and other 12-step programs – faculty Psychiatry Scholars Program, Division Faculty serve as mentors to medical students wishing to fulfill their independent learning requirement. Psychiatric Residents PGY-III, lecturer in the core course - Introduction to Substance Dependence. This course meets for 1 hr / week for 10 weeks each year. Teachers are faculty in the Division of Substance Dependence and community practitioners. Scheduled Lectures in 2007. Addiction Fellows Opportunities for Research Participation of Medical Students and Residents Residents: Residents are welcomed and encouraged to approach Division faculty regarding mentorship and participation in research projects ongoing in the Division. |
