Does the entry-level Physical Therapy Program only begin in June, or may I start in the Fall?
June is the only term in which to begin the entry-level Program.
Is it possible to take my entry-level prerequisite courses on your campus?
No, we are a graduate campus only.
Regarding references, may I use a letter of recommendation instead of your form?
No, you must utilize the PTCAS form and the specific instructions that accompany the PTCAS reference section.
How do I know if UC Denver has received my completed and verified application?
It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure all documents have been received by PTCAS, and that the supplemental application has been submitted to us.  We will not receive your application unless it is complete, and thus will have no idea that you are applying.
Do you conduct interviews?
Yes, interviews are required as part of the entry-level application process.
For the entry-level clinical experience prerequisite for the entry-level program, must I have hours in all three settings?
Yes.
Do you have suggestions regarding physical therapists to "shadow," to obtain this experience?
Yes, we can recommend contacts here in Colorado and elsewhere.
Do DPT classes continue throughout the Summer?
Classes run through the Summer in the first, second and third year of the entry-level program.
What are our Program's GRE school and department codes?
Our school code is 4875 and our department code is 0619.
Do you have student housing?
Our campus is located in Aurora, and there are many residential opportunities near campus. The UCD Student Assistance office offers a listing of available housing.
