ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Call for Abstracts
Abstracts will be accepted from scientists, technicians, and trainees who are using, refining, or developing techniques used for the in vivo assessment or analysis of energy expenditure and fuel utilization. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by conference participants and organizers for their merit and relevance to the conference objectives. Up to twelve abstracts will be selected on their merit for oral presentation, while the remaining submissions relevant to the conference objectives will be accepted for poster presentation.
Abstract Submission
Abstracts should include a title, full names of authors with the presenting author in bold, affiliation(s) of the authors, and no more than 300 words of text. A single page Microsoft Word or pdf document should contain the entire abstract. Trainees (post-docs, residents, and graduate students) wishing to compete for the SABLE TRAINEE AWARD PROGRAM (see below) should also obtain a letter from their mentor or department chair indicating their trainee status. Submit the abstract and supporting letter (if applicable) via email to: RACMEM.abstract@uchsc.edu

SABLE TRAINEE AWARD PROGRAM
Sable Systems International has provided funds that will be designated to support the travel expenses of post-doctoral fellows, residents, and graduate students whose abstract receives the highest scores from the RACMEM Subcommittee for Abstract Reviews. The number and magnitude of these awards has not yet been finalized, but these awards will be presented at the meeting.
