Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship
The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado Denver offers a fellowship in Musculoskeletal
Imaging that includes all aspects of plain film, CT, MR, and procedures
related to the musculoskeletal system. Fellows work at the
Anschutz Center for Advanced Medicine (ACAM).
Our service works intimately with the Orthopaedic
service, with weekly trauma rounds, sports medicine conferences,
bi-monthly orthopaedic tumor conference, as well as monthly rheumatology
conference. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities,
there is the opportunity for Fellows to become involved in research
projects that will result in scientific publications. There are
numerous on-going clinical research activities with strong medical
physics support from the Division of Radiological Sciences. Educational
resources include access to a large personal teaching file from
which the ACR teaching file was built. There is also the opportunity
to provide reviews for the newest Radiology textbooks, thus enabling
the Fellow to build a personal library with no financial cost.
Fellowship Application Procedure: Interested
persons can download an application here,or
can send an application request to Tina Kutsuma.
Upon receipt of the completed application, applicants are sent
an acknowledgement letter, which states an approximate date for
when formal interviews will commence. At such time, applications
are reviewed by the musculoskeletal faculty and invitations to interview are extended. Applicants who are
not granted an interview are notified by mail.
There are currently no openings for 2008 Musculoskeletal Fellowships.
