What do our residents do after finishing our program?
The majority (80% or more in recent years)
of graduates of radiology residency programs across the country
pursue additional subspecialty training. This fellowship training
is usually one year in length, but can be longer for those interested
in gaining research experience in anticipation of an academic
career.
Over the past seven years, all of our graduating
residents have gone on for fellowships. Most ultimately end
up in private practice, but several have entered academic practice
in recent years. Of those who go into private practice, more
settle in Colorado and the contiguous states than elsewhere,
but our graduates can be found throughout the country. Institutions at which our graduates have recently
