What do our residents do after finishing our program?

The majority (80% or more in recent years) of graduates of radiology residency programs across the country pursue additional subspecialty training. This fellowship training is usually one year in length, but can be longer for those interested in gaining research experience in anticipation of an academic career.

Over the past seven years, all of our graduating residents have gone on for fellowships. Most ultimately end up in private practice, but several have entered academic practice in recent years. Of those who go into private practice, more settle in Colorado and the contiguous states than elsewhere, but our graduates can be found throughout the country.
