The Program in Reproductive Science has combined its seminar program with that of Cell and Developmental Biology. Seminars are held on Wednesday at noon feature both guest speakers and local faculty speaking on topics of interest to program members.

These seminars will be augmented by seminars in a number of programs which deal with issues in Reproductive Biology including the Hormones and Malignancy Seminars held in conjunction with the Division of Endocrinology seminars at 11:00 AM on Wednesdays and selected seminars sponsored by the Department of Physiology and the Neuroscience Program as well as selected Grand rounds in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Journal Clubs, Research in Progress Presentations

The program sponsors a biweekly meeting that alternates between Journal Clubs and Research in Progress sessions on Mondays at noon. These sessions provide a forum for students and faculty to read papers and present their work. These sessions are required for core faculty and students in the program and are open to other faculty, post-doctoral fellows and interested clinical fellows. These sessions will also serve to acquaint program members with the research in other laboratories, to acquaint students and faculty with opportunities for translational research, to inform program members of technological advances that may facilitate their work, and to document significant problems in the field. Each student must present a yearly Research in Progress meeting.
