UCD Division of Rheumatology
Trainees Interested in Research Opportunities

The Division of Rheumatology has many engaging options available for trainees who would like to explore research opportunities. These are available to students and housestaff at all levels of prior research experience. Housestaff sincerely contemplating an academic career are strongly encouraged to pursue one of the research opportunities within the division, prior to applying for the rheumatology fellowship research track (3 year academic-oriented position).  Engaging in a research project, per se, is unlikely to enhance an applicant’s chances of acceptance into the rheumatology fellowship clinical track (2 year practitioner-oriented).
