My main interest is in doctor-patient communication.  I have worked extensively
with the Foundations of Medicine program over the last seven years teaching medical students
effective and empathetic communication.  In addition I have been a national speaker on issues
such as communication and dealing with difficult patients.  I have also worked with 
Copic Insurance Company on their physician education program on the same issues.
