Program Areas
This information is for all UC Denver investigators, research professionals and staff who conduct or are engaged in biological or biomedical studies, and are subject to UC Denver Biological Safety Programs..
Work with or exposure to the following items qualify as exposure to Infectious agents, blood-borne pathogens, and/or Recombinant DNA:
• Human or non-human primate blood, bodily fluids, unfixed tissues and organs;
• Infectious agents and by-products;
•Cell or tissue cultures of human origin;
• Oncogenic viruses;
• Recombinant DNA molecules and by-products;
•Select Agents.
