Call for Papers
The
Fourth Visible Human Project Conference will be held at the Keystone
Resort in Keystone, Colorado from Thursday, October 17 through Saturday,
October 19 , 2002. Saturday will focus on, but will not be limited
to, Visible Human in the Classroom. The conference will bring together
users and developers from multiple disciplines to share experiences
from using the Visible Human image data set. The conference hopes
to foster collaborations and scholarly discussions among Visible
Human Project participants and Visible Human Conference attendees
and discuss the future of the Visible Human in the 21st Century.
Abstracts will
be made available at the Conference. Conference proceedings, containing
full papers, including full color illustrations, graphic, animations,
etc., will be published on CD-ROM following the Conference.
Presentations
will be oral, auditorium style, and limited to 20 minutes. Overhead,
VHS video and slide projection equipment will be available on request.
Data projectors will be available to display presentations from
laptop computers. A computer for the display of preloaded Powerpoint
presentations will also be available and its use is encouraged.
Other specialized presentation equipment must be supplied by the
presenter.
Abstracts
The
receipt deadline for abstracts has expired. Abstracts are restricted
to maximum of two pages, including the space for text and illustrations;
full color images in the abstract are encouraged. Abstracts may
be sent in Microsoft Word or Adobe Actrobat PDF format via e-mail
to julie@visiblehuman.org

Text: Single spaced and justified
Ilustrations: Numbered, may appear in body of paper or at end
