The Center for Human Simulation has created a large database of human anatomy (the Visible Human Project) which is the combination of high resolution digital photography and 3-D computer applications. Our purpose is to bring the application of this data to research, clinical practice and most importantly, to the classrooms.

In the Spring of 2002, live video of the cutting process was broadcast here on the web of a thorax specimen. You can view slices from this specimen below.
