LAY SUMMARY OF RESEARCH OBJECTIVES:
Improvements in outcome of cancer treatments can only come from testing new
strategies and agents in precisely defined patients who are objectively
monitored. Development of and participation in clinical trials, especially for
patients with AIDS malignancies, is a major focus.
