Lewis, M.D. Assistant Professor Education: Albany Medical College Albany, NY – 1999 University of Colorado at Denver School of Medicine Division of Medical Oncology Tel: (720) 848-0637 Email: karl.lewis@uchsc.edu Bio Dr. Karl Lewis has been at UCHSC since 2002.  His primary clinical interest is the treatment of malignant melanoma.  Dr. Lewis is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology and is the Associate Director of the Melanoma Research Clinics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (UCHSC).  His clinical interests are malignant melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies Research His research interests focus on novel treatments for metastatic melanoma and he is currently the principal investigator or co-investigator on a number of therapeutic clinical trials.  He is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Southwest Oncology Group, and Society for Melanoma Research.  He has coauthored numerous scientific articles and abstracts and has presented at national meetings.
