Career Paths

Our June 09 graduates are pursuing a variety of career options:

• 58% have secured fellowships (including Primary Care Fellowships such as Geriatrics)
• 16% are starting primary care careers
• 26% will be hospitalists

Over the last 5 years, 50-60% of our graduating class have gone on to subspecialty fellowship training, approximately 20% have pursued primary care or hospitalist occupations (several with plans to apply for fellowship after 1-2 years). Many residents elect to stay in Denver to pursue fellowship or to practice after graduation.
