Career Paths

Our June 07 graduates are pursuing a variety of career options:

• 77% have secured fellowships (including Primary Care Fellowships such as Geriatrics)
• 9% are starting primary care careers
• 13% will be hospitalists

Over the last 5 years, 50-60% of our graduating class have gone on to subspecialty fellowship training, 20-30% have pursued primary care, 10-20% have pursued hospitalist occupations (several with plans to apply for fellowship after 1-2 years), and less than 5% have pursued locum tenems or other careers. Many residents stay in Denver to pursue fellowship or to practice after graduation.
