Preliminary Year

The University of Colorado offers an excellent one year program to medical school graduates who will be pursuing other subspecialties. Preliminary residents experience a variety of inpatient venues, work in ambulatory clinics and the ED, are offered two elective rotations and have the option of participating in a continuity clinic. In addition, we have a Neurology Preliminary Program with a separate match number. Neurology Preliminary Interns are required to participate in continiuity clinic.
