University of Colorado - Anschutz Medical Campus

University Hospital is a 383-bed quaternary care state-of-the-art facility which provides care to the state of Colorado and a referral base of seven surrounding states.
In June 2007, the hospital moved to the Anschutz Medical Campus where a new state-of-the-art academic health center and research facilities have been built. The campus is also directly adjacent to the Colorado Science and Technology Park at Fitzsimons., complete with state-of-the-art patient care and research facilities.

The hospital provides the community with basic hospital care, but it also provides the most advanced care possible for complex cases and critically ill patients. University of Colorado Hospital also has a very active transplant center, including heart, lung, liver, kidney, and bone marrow. Inpartint teaching services include General Internal Medicine, Oncology, Geriatrics, Hepatology, Cardiology/CCU, and Pulmonary/MICU that are staffed with one R2 and one R1. Rotations are also available in all of the medical subspecialties.
