Information
A one or two year Neuroradiology Fellowship position
is available starting July 2001 in the Department of Radiology at the
University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado.
The University of Colorado Neuroradiology Fellowship
Program is based at University Hospital, and includes experience at The
Children's Hospital, and the Denver Veteran's Administration Hospital.
Neuroradiology Fellows are encouraged to participate actively with neuropathology
and clinical services. The program is supervised by the five Neuroradiologists
at University Hospital. Research within the program is principally in the areas
of MR-based measures of MS and other white matter diseases; very high
resolution MR vascular imaging studies; and functional studies by fMRI
and MEG.
In house equipment includes: 1.5 T GE Signa (Echo-speed MRI upgrade Oct. 1997) and 1.5 T Siemens Vision MRI Systems (strong gradient echo-planar system); two high speed (Spiral) GE CTi Systems; biplane and single plane Digital Angiography suites. Study volume:
