Family Therapy (Drs. Reaven and Henken, 1.5 hours/week, 4-9 months). This seminar will provide an introduction to family therapy. This is primarily a clinical seminar, where ongoing family therapy sessions coupled with live supervision become the primary vehicle for assisting psychology interns and child psychiatry fellows in the development of a working model of family therapy intervention. Approaches will include structural and strategic family therapy, and systemic family therapy interventions. Interns and supervisors are part of the team working with the family, and will participate both in front of and behind the mirror.
