Questions About Fitzsimons??

The Transition to Fitz?  Need to move in the meantime?

4Move Website has Arrived!

The Fitzsimons Campus is growing everyday with more students, staff, patients and visitors coming here to work, learn, meet, and receive healthcare.  While we are a work in progress with multiple construction sites and road closures resulting in detours, we remain fully functional in our research, education and delivery of healthcare.

Whether you are at Fitzsimons already or still located at the 9th Ave Campus, we realize you are now or will soon be interested in information about many aspects of Fitzsimons.   To begin providing information to you, we have set up a website that contains helpful resources to students, staff and visitors such as:

v      Amenities at or near Fitzsimons

v      Restaurants at or near Fitzsimons

v      Visitor Map

v      RCI Occupant Information (will add occupant information for other buildings as they open)

v      Projects at Fitzsimons: Completed and Under Construction or Design

v      Questions About Fitzsimons Venue

We are also in the process of planning the transition from the 9th Ave Campus to Fitzsimons.  In the near future we will be posting helpful information about the transition and how it will impact your move to Fitz ~ Please visit us at:

Need to Move in the meantime?

As the overall transition to Fitzsimons is a few years out, we will continue to do smaller scope moves that will be occurring in the meantime.  If you need to move and the space has been approved, you can access a Move Request Packet from the 4Move page

This packet is one Excel file which you will download containing 5 forms as stated below.

v      Instructions                  (to assist in a smooth move)

v      Move Request Form     (general scope of move)

v      Staff Roster                  (to indicate what staff will be moving and where they are going)

v      Lab Equipment Roster (to ensure proper utilities are in place at new location, mostly used by research labs)

v      Lab Equipment Label (used in conjunction with the Lab Equipment Roster)

Moving is much more involved than just scheduling movers to do the physical move, a transition team is here to help.  Many times the little things are forgotten about until it becomes an issue that may even be stressful.  In order to help facilitate all aspects of a move, the transition team will use the packet to notify service departments such as Information Systems, Facilities Operations, ID Access Office, Health & Safety, etc. that a move is being scheduled.  This packet also provides them with information that they will need to accommodate your move without their having to ask you for it separately. This is intended to help us avoid mishaps, duplicate efforts, and make the move as streamlined as possible.  We are here to help in any way we can.

The Move Request Packet, once completed should be emailed to (no hard copies please) to 4Move.Planning@uchsc.edu.

Again, we hope you find this site helpful with Fitzsimons resources but if you are looking for information that we have not supplied, have questions, comments, or suggestions, we invite you to “Contact us” using the links provided on each page of the website.
