country are starving, but they’re not hungry for a balanced meal.
They’re starved for adult attention.”
Between
the ages of 10 and 17, young people go through a series of changes
that will determine what kind of adult life they will lead. At this
time, the right role model and a caring relationship can make a big
difference: to the young person, to society, and to the caring adult.
PIP
supports the pairing of young people with carefully selected adult
mentors from UCD and UCH. The goal of PIP is to help young people grow up strong and creative
with the assistance of a caring connection. Mentors introduce young people to the world of science, health,
history, and the arts:
