Nick Wilson makes outstanding student showing at research competition
Nick Wilson (DS3) has been selected as runner up in the recent ADA/DENTSPLY Student Clinician Research Program competition held in Hawaii with his work:
"Dimethacrylate Network Development in the presence of Chain-Transfer
Agents"
Nick also recently won an ARCS scholarship.
“I would like to also congratulate Dr. Jeff Stansbury who has served as
Nick's mentor on multiple research projects involving biomaterials over the past few years,” said Assistant Professor John Cusick, PhD. “According to Dr. Stansbury (to the best of our knowledge), this is only the 2nd time that a student from the School of Dental Medicine has placed this high in the ADA/DENTSPLY competition!
“We have either reached or met several milestones in our Student Research Group recently, and this has certainly been effective at enhancing the image of our institution among our peers,” Cusick continued.
Some of the notable milestones that have either been reached or met recently are:
ADA/DENTSPLY runner up;
2009 Nick Wilson (DS3) Mentor: Dr. Jeff Stansbury
2002 Demetrios Syrpes Mentor: Dr. Jeff Stansbury
Hatton Award Finalist at AADR meeting;
