Getting Started:
Browser Plug-ins and Player Software

In order to be sure that your computer is able to play all the various media files that are used for instruction, this software should be installed:

• Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Apple Quicktime Player
• Flash Player browser plugin
• Firefox 2.0 web browser
• Windows MediaPlayer

If you are able, on your own, to locate and install these players and plugins, feel free to do so. All of this software is freely available on the Web. However, if you require assistance, or you would like us to install the software for you, just contact the tech support office and bring us your computer.

We install McAfee Anti-Virus Enterprise, which is required, and we uninstall any other virus protection software to prevent conflicts. You will have to bring your laptop in for this install.

We uninstall Google Desktop, because of network bandwidth issues.

And lastly, we make sure your laptop has all the latest Windows updates.
