Motion regarding funding for Library:
RESOLVED: The School of Medicine Faculty Senate urges the Dean of the School of Medicine, the Director of Denison Library, the UCHSC Library Committee and the UCDHSC Chancellor to develop a plan for long-term, stable funding for the Library using state, Indirect Cost Recovery (ICR) and other appropriate funds. A written report of findings and recommendations should be prepared by the Library Committee and submitted to the Dean, Faculty Senate and Chancellor by September 1, 2005. Further, the Faculty Senate urges the Chancellor to protect the Denison Library from any further funding reductions over the next 5 fiscal years.
